2020 is one of those years we’ll talk about forever, for better or for worse.
The impact of the pandemic has put a damper (and a halt) on our 2020 travel plans.
Like many of you, we’ve limited our traveling to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). This means we’ve had to be super cautious while traveling.
Traveling with children during a pandemic was made possible with these 3 tips:
-
Sanitize – From airports to buses, even ferry boat rides, you’ll want to sanitize your hands frequently. Whenever you’re on the go, try Lysol hand wipes, Wet Wipes with alcohol or hand sanitizer. This will minimize the spread of germs. If you have the opportunity to wash your hands with soap and clean water, opt for that over sanitizing.
-
Create a Kiddie Bag – Traveling during a pandemic is hard. Traveling with kids during a pandemic is harder. Packing a kiddie bag like our Globetrotter Carry On Backpack with puzzles, books, hand sanitizer, wipes, tissue and masks can help keep children safe and occupied during travel.
-
Watch the news – Before the pandemic, watching the news was a choice. In today’s climate, restrictions and advisories are changing fast. Stay abreast of what’s happening in your local community but also where you plan to visit.
